The Franklin Wellness Center operates under the Stockton Unified School District’s Health Services Department to promote the comprehensive well-being of all students. In collaboration with the school counseling and mental health departments, the Center upholds the district’s commitment to fostering a holistic approach to student wellness.

The Wellness Center provides direct services, preventative interventions, and access to essential community resources. In partnership with community-based organizations, the Center strives to address the diverse wellness needs of the Franklin student body, ensuring that every student is supported academically, socially, and emotionally.

  • Wellness Centers on high school campuses represent a vital investment in the health, well-being, and academic success of students. These centers provide early intervention and accessible resources for students experiencing social-emotional or mental health challenges that may impact their learning and overall school experience.

    By fostering a supportive environment and promoting connection, Wellness Centers also strengthen student engagement and a sense of belonging within the school community.

  • The Franklin Wellness Center provides a comprehensive range of services to promote the academic, social, and emotional well-being of all students.

    Student Support Services

    • Individual Counseling – One-on-one support focused on personal, social, or academic concerns.

    • Mentoring & Peer Mentoring – Guidance and encouragement to help students build confidence and positive connections.

    • Case Management – Ongoing support and coordination of services for students with identified needs.

    • Conflict Mediation – Assistance in resolving peer conflicts in a constructive and respectful manner.

    Group Support & Workshops

    We offer small group sessions that provide students with tools and strategies to navigate challenges and build resilience:

    • Anger Management

    • Anxiety and Stress

    • Depression

    • Healthy Relationships

    • Social Skills Development

    • Grief and Loss

    • Boy/Girl Circles

    • Newcomer Support

    Health & Wellness Resources

    • Safe Space for Decompression – A calm environment for students to pause, reflect, and regulate emotions.

    • Sports Physicals – On-site physicals to support student participation in athletics.

    • Community Resource Referrals – Connections to local organizations and programs for additional support.

    The Franklin Wellness Center remains committed to providing a safe, supportive, and inclusive space where every student can thrive.

    • Anyone may refer a student to the Franklin Wellness Center by completing the 2025-2026 Wellness Center Support Services Referral Form.
    • Referrals may also be made by contacting the student’s school counselor or a school administrator directly.
    • Students seeking support are welcome to visit the Wellness Center during before school, lunch, or after school hours to request services or learn more about available resources.

    The Wellness Center is open to all students and is committed to ensuring timely access to wellness and support services in a safe and welcoming environment.

8:00am-4:00pm

The F.H.S Wellness Center is located in the A building, next to Student Intervention Office.
