Community Service
As part of the IB Program requirements, students must complete a prescribed number of community service hours each year. Student safety is our top priority, so please help students choose appropriate opportunities.
What Counts as Community Service?
- Tutoring other students on campus during tutoring hours
- Tutoring younger students at an elementary school
- Helping at any school or IB event
- Participating in school events (plays, music performances, art showcases, etc.)
- Organizing and running a club
- Promoting a school or community event
- School beautification projects
- Volunteering at your church
- International causes (UNICEF, PETA, Save the Children, etc.)
- Helping a neighbor with yardwork or housework (unpaid)
- Volunteering at an elementary school
- Almost anything that helps our community

There is no paper form.
How do I record my hours?
Students must complete the Google Form linked in the Community Service Google Classroom.

All community service hours must be recorded by April 5, 2024.
