Franklin High School always welcomes and appreciates parent and community volunteers!

Thank you for your interest in supporting our students and school community.

To get started, please visit BeAMentor.org/Stockton and follow the instructions below.

Go to BeAMentor.org/Stockton
Enter your email address to create an account.
When selecting your project, choose:
“Franklin High School – Unsupervised Volunteer.”
From your Dashboard, carefully review and complete each required step as soon as possible so your volunteer service can begin.
Once you complete the volunteer application, the Community School Coordinator will approve your application. Approval is needed in order to be able to get fingerprinted.

You will be required to complete the following prior to getting fingerprinted:

Completed LiveScan form: ENGLISH LIVESCAN FORM / SPANISH LIVESCAN FORM
TB Test: Provide current TB test results (through your doctor)
Current/Valid Driver’s License
Fingerprinting & Background Check:
- Complete your fingerprinting through SUSD Police Department (SUSD PD) on a walk-in basis.
- The Fingerprinting office is open, Monday to Friday, 7am-5pm on 640 N. San Joaquin Street, Stockton, CA, 95202.
Volunteer Badge:
- After all requirements are cleared through SUSD PD, a volunteer badge will be dropped off at the school site you will be volunteering at. A school staff (Community Support Staff) will reach out to coordinate pick up.

Important: If you do not see emails from Be A Mentor or SUSD, please check your spam/junk folder.

For each new school year, returning volunteers must:

Log back into their Be A Mentor account
Review and complete any updated requirements
Schedule fingerprinting again to receive a new badge for the current school year
