She is bilingual in Hmong. She loves to craft and sew on her spare time. She loves family time and gathering on special events and holidays. She loves food and loves to try different culture's foods.

  • Galilea Beltran was born in French Camp, California and raised in Stockton, California. Galilea is bilingual in Spanish and English. She graduated from Franklin High School and has been with SUSD's Health Services Department for 3 years. She is in the process of getting her Speech-Language Pathology Assistant License and her Bachelor's in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She plans to become a School Speech Language Pathologist in the future. Galilea loves to travel to try different foods and visit different beaches. She loves to go on hikes and spend time with her family and friends.

  • Eye Glass-World has partnered with SUSD Health Service Dept. to provide a complimentary pair of eye glasses for our underserved students within the community. 

    As you identify students having the greatest need for assistance in affording eye care:
     

    • Have the Parent/Guardian call to schedule an Appt. (the recipient should contact the store ahead of time)
       
    • Parent/Guardian should inform the store that the student attends a school within SUSD and has been refereed using the "National Vision Cares Voucher" Program. 
       
    • Eye-Glass World will discuss if they have a current/valid eye prescription. If they do not, the store will work with them to try to faciliate a comprehensive eye exam. 
       
    • Parent/Guardian can call Eye-Glass World or visit www.eyeglassworld.com to find the closest location.

In collaboration with Big Smiles, Franklin High School offers its students FREE dental services ON CAMPUS, throughout the school year!


A packet with an application for this clinic will be distributed to our students during class time, so parents please keep an eye out for this Health Services packet to complete and return back all important forms.
